About Me

Hi, I’m Meghan. So nice to see you here!

I love justice, animals, efficiency, and FOOD. However, like most, time is sparse and demands can be high.

After wavering between cookbooks and programs, I was able to come up with my own methods that allowed me to assemble meals using a mix of whatever I had on hand: fresh, packaged, dry, and frozen. This allowed me to get out of the mind frame of “cooking,” and instead to “assembly.” The goal was food on the table my family would eat that didn’t involve me making a random trip to the grocery store.

In my spare time I love to hike with my dog, watch movies with my kids, and organize (my time, kitchen, files, anything!) My most recent endeavor was getting accredited by the American Culinary Association. I’ve also worked for the largest foreign assistance agency in the world, the White House, have done strategic planning for the federal government, in addition to assisting Americans in their most vulnerable hours. I’ve seen food insecurity and people in their time of need.

I couldn’t continue to eat meat knowing how much resources animals require before getting to our plate. You may not be able to directly save an animal from a factory farm, take the food from the cows and give it to a hungry child, or stop the emissions from blowing out from the processing plant, but you can know that you’re not a part of it anymore. Your hands are clean.

My long career has been solely focused on helping others, and my last few years has been on helping animals and the environment. Now I want to help those like you and me who are there right now.

Won’t you join me? Let’s get YOU going!

Let’s regain your space in the kitchen, your wallet at the grocery store, and your health, on your vegan journey.

Keep it easy,

Meghan
